    DAN SUSMAN is an award-winning writer/director.

    He recently wrote and directed Cop Out, an internet comedy series for Channel 4 starring Tom Brooke, and is developing a new sitcom with Objective Productions. He directed sketches for Russell Howard’s Good News, and is set to direct Penelope, an intense short drama starring Juliet Stevenson.

    His short film, Veils, starring Maureen Lipman and Ray Panthaki, won the UKJFF Short Film Prize 2007 and was selected for several international festivals. His film Trouble on the Tracks starring Oliver Chris won the MoFilm Competition in 2009

    He directed Mentalists, an internet comedy series starring Olivia Poulet and Sarah Solemani, and wrote and directed Fish Without a Bicycle, a ‘feminist action short’ complete with Shaolin fight sequence. He also directed the music video for Hiatus’s new single, Fortune’s Fools, which garnered 100,000 views.

    Dan also works as an editor, with credits including feature film Blooded (released nationwide by Revolver Entertainment) and multi-award-winning HBO documentary This is My Africa featuring Colin Firth and Jon Snow.

    TV editor credits include several factual series for BBC and Discovery.

    His “Wayne Rooney World Cup” youtube film was a runaway sensation, with over 3 million views.

    In his spare time he produces dance music, studies fractals, and moonlights as a restaurant critic for Time Out and speechwriter for the Lord Mayor of London.
